What’s New:

- Connecting Tone: A brief connecting tone will play while we attempt to contact the carrier.

- Realistic Ringback: The typical ringback tone starts only when the recipient's device is confirmed to be ringing by the carrier.

- Clear Feedback: If the carrier isn’t reachable, the call ends after the connecting tone without the "phantom ringing."

Why it Matters:

- Previously, calls seemed to be ringing when they weren't, leading to confusion and abrupt disconnects.

- The new update ensures you know exactly when a call is connecting, reducing wasted time on false ringing.

- This clarity helps you move efficiently to the next call, increasing productivity.

How it Works:

- Applicable to: All accounts automatically.

- Exception: Accounts set to connect after the call recording message will still use the previous ringback method.

You might not notice the connecting tone often because most calls connect quickly. However, when it does play, it provides an honest connection cue.
